Shore Mounts & Bulkheads

This page is intended to give examples of many different types of anchoring systems.  When you get to this part of your dock installation everything is very site specific.  You need to consider things like water depth, water level changes, wind and wave forces, snow and ice loading and soil erosion just to name a few.

Bulkhead is a term commonly used to describe the shore mount.

This dock is secured by using (2) Galvanized Steel Stiff-Arms attached to a concrete patio deck.
